JAMMU, Mar 15: According to an official communiqué of Chief Engineer, Elect. Maintt & R. E. Wing, in order to carry out stringing of conductor of new transformer bay on 33 KV side and erection of breaker on 33 KV line/transformer bay at 132/33 KV Grid Station Gangyal, the shut down of 132/33 KV Grid Station Gangyal on March 17, 2013 from 8 am to 1 pm has been allowed.
As such power supply to Gangyal Industrial Complex, Trikutanagar, Greater Kailash, Seora, Babliana and adjoining areas shall be affected.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out the works of stinging of 400 KV Double circuit Kishenpur- Samba Transmission line near Kishenpur Manwal, the power supply to areas Upper Kathar, Lower Kathar, Panchayat, Toll Post Manwal, Kangrail and some adjoining areas fed from 11 KV Jindrah Feeder, will remain affected from March 17 to 19 from 9.00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
