JAMMU, Feb 10: Acco-rding to a communiqué received from Chief Engineer, Electric, Maintanance and R. E. Wing, Jammu, the shut down of 66 KV Samba-Rajpura line for stringing work of 400 KV D/C Jalandhar-Samba Transmission line on February 11, 12 and 14, 2016 from 10 am to 3 pm has been allowed.
During the shutdown period, the power supply to areas being fed from R/Stns. Ghagwal, Sanura, Rajpura, Mawa, Sher-pur, Nichla, Kattal Brahmana, Koota and Randhwal alongwith MES Ghagwal will remain affected.
Similarly, the shutdown of 132 KV D/C Barn-Katra Transmission line for carrying out replacement of Disc Insulator Strings emanating from Barn Grid Station on February 13, 14 and 15, 2016 from 9 am to 5 pm has been allowed.
During the shutdown period, the power supply to District Reasi shall be affected. However, the power supply to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine will be maintained by Sub-Transmission Division, Udhampur through 132/33 KV Jhajjar Kotli Grid Station.
