JAMMU, Apr 22: In order to carry out the work of replacement of damaged “B” Phase CT of 132 KV side of 200 MVA, 220/132 KV power transformer by dismantling 132 KV CTs from Bus Coupler Bay and erection in 132 KV side of 200 MVA, 220/132 KV Power Transformer bay at Grid Station Hiranagar, the emergency shutdown of 320 MVA, 220/132/66 KV Grid Station Hiranagar including shut down of132 KV Sewa-II Hiranagar D/C Transmission Line on 23-4-2014 (Wednesday) from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. has been allowed.
As intimated by Chief Engineer, S&O Wing Jammu, during the shutdown period, the power supply to Kathua, Hira Nagar, Samba, Billawar, Mahanpur and Industrial area of Bari Brahmana-II will remain affected.
