POONCH, Sept 7: Some traders engaged in cross LoC trade have framed new body ” Poonch Rawlakote Traders Union”.
Shahzad Khan was nominated as new chairman, Sehdev Singh Chib as vice chairman, Hardev Singh chief patron, Abdul Razak Khan-president, Abdul Ahad general secretary, Krishan Singh vice president, Mohd Amin Magray secretary, Shahzad Shabnam chief organizer, Abdul Aziz Khari as organizer, Anil Phool legal advisor; G M Azad joint secretary and Imtiaz Slaria as cahsier.
The newly nominated/ elected 21-members committee of the new body then met the Deputy Commissioner Poonch, M H Malik and requested him to arrange a meeting of the traders of both sides at Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point to resolve pending issues of the traders. They extended full support to all the registered 303 traders.
