REASI, Sept 23: Demanding permission to work, Ponywalas who offer services on Mata Vaishno Devi track, held a protest at Katra today.
They raised slogans in support of their demand and said that they should be allowed to offer services on the track as pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi has been going on since August.
It is pertinent to mention here that few days back they held a protest at Yog Ashram Katra for the same but their demand was not fulfilled so they protest today again.
They started a protest march from Katra towards Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board office but were stopped by police.
Police officials assured them about the redressal of their problem at the earliest.
