Police trace, return army personnel’s lost box

JAMMU, Nov 29: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Jammu district traced and returned a valuable box that an Army personnel had mistakenly left behind in a bus during travel.
A police official said that the incident took place on November 26 when RK Singh, travelling from Udhampur to Jammu, forgot the box containing important items after de-boarding.
He said after he reported the matter, a team of Police Station Bus Stand led by Inspector Inderpal Singh launched a coordinated search across different routes.
Continuous communication with drivers and conductors helped the police track down the vehicle at Narwal, the police official further said.
He said the box was found intact and was later handed over to the Army personnel after proper verification.
