JAMMU, Apr 1: With the arrest of an individual, Jammu and Kashmir Police today claimed to have solved a theft case registered at Police Station Nowabad here.
A police official said that acting on the complaint of one Runa Sadotra, who alleged a theft of water taps and AC wires at her house at Hari Nagar, Talab Tillo area, a case FIR number 36/2025 under the relevant sections of the law was registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, he said, a team of Police Post Talab Tillo led by incharge Police Post, PSI Vikram Singh Manhas, under the supervision of SHO Nowabad, Inspector Deepak Pathania, identified the accused as Sunil Kumar alias Bugu of Trilokpur, Camp Gole Gujral, Jammu.
On his interrogation, the police official said the stolen goods were recovered from his possession.
While the accused has been arrested, further investigation into the case is underway, added the police official.
