JAMMU, Nov 18: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Sarwal area claimed to have solved multiple cases of online frauds and recovered Rs 2.6 lakh from the fraudsters.
A police official said that several aggrieved persons approached Police Post Sarwal, claiming they were cheated by fraudsters online.
On receiving the complaints, he said, a team of Sarwal Police Post under the supervision of SDPO City West, Dr Satish Bhardwaj and SHO Bakshi Nagar started investigation and after diligent efforts, recovered the defrauded amount from the fraudsters.
The locals have appreciated the swift action of the police in recovering their amount from the fraudsters.
