Police solve hit-and-run case in Tral

SRINAGAR, Oct 24: Police today solved a hit-and-run case involving the death of a five-year-old boy in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police spokesperson said that the incident occurred at Hardumir Tral, where an unknown vehicle struck the child, identified as Ariz Ahmad, who later succumbed to his injuries at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar. “Following investigation and CCTV analysis, police identified and arrested the accused driver, Mukhtar Ahmad Mir of Amlar Nowpora. The vehicle involved in the accident was also seized,” the spokesperson said.
