RAJOURI, Dec 13: During a night raid at Darhali Nallah, the police seized heavy machinery being used for illegal extraction of mining minerals during night hours on Thursday.
Official sources said that during the operation two Poclain machines, one JCB machine and two Tippers were seized. During verification it was found that one Poclain Machine and JCB were owned by Asif Manzoor, son of Manzoor Ahmed, resident of Dhanore Dhindia Rajouri and one one Poclain Manchine was owned by Abdul Rashid, son of Mohd Ismile, resident of Dhanore Jarallan, Rajouri.
All the seized machinery was found involved in illegal extraction of mining and mineral resources from Darhali Nallah. Legal action under the provisions of the MMDR Act has been initiated against the violators.
