POONCH, Sept 19: In a successful operation against bovine smuggling, District Police Poonch rescued 15 bovine animals and seized three vehicles during a naka at Mirza Morha, in Surankote.
Acting swiftly on specific intelligence, police teams intercepted three vehicles, illegally transporting bovines. The prompt action of police thwarted the smuggling attempt.
All three vehicles were seized on the spot and three FIRs, numbered 202/2025, 203/2025, and 204/2025, were registered at Police Station Surankote for further investigation.
