KATHUA, Apr 30: In continuation to take tough action against illegal mining within the district, Kathua Police under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, R C Kotwal today seized two dumpers indulged in illegal mining which were being used for illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdictional area of Police Station (PS) Billawar.
Police said a team headed by PSI Ravinder Singh In charge Police Post (PP), Ramkot while on patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area near Tharakalwal found two dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK08J-7877 & JK08H-2237 indulged in illegal mining which were being used for illegal transportation of construction material.
Meanwhile both the vehicles indulged in illegal mining were seized and were immediately handed over to the officials of mining department Kathua for further legal proceedings.
