Srinagar, Jan 10: As part of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, police in Awantipora today seized four L&T machines from Ladhoo, Khrew, used for illegal mining activities.
According to authorities, the operation was led by SHO Police Station Khrew during routine patrolling conducted in coordination with the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO).
Police said a case has been registered under relevant sections of law.
Investigation has been initiated to identify all persons involved and to prevent the recurrence of such illegal activities.
