KATHUA, Nov 3: Kathua Police today recovered lost mobile handsets with purchased value of Rs 76,000 approximate for which missing complaint was registered.
The police handed over these recovered mobiles handsets to their owners.
Meanwhile acting sternly against illegal liquor menace , a team of Police Station Bani today seized 36 country liquor bottles 375 ml each and arrested the bootlegger.
Police team headed by SI, Mohan Lal SHO, PS Bani during checking duty at Bhulak bridge Bani apprehended one person namely Mehar Singh son of Bansu of Barmota, Bani and recovered 36 country made liquor bottles 375 ml each in his illegal possession.
Police registered a case FIR No 74/2018 U/S 48(a) Excise Act against the accused and investigation taken up.
Kathua police has requested people of the area to come forward and make this drive against illegal liquor menace a people’s movement.
