UDHAMPUR, Mar 24: The police managed to recover a missing girl from Kud area of district Udhampur today.
Reports said a written report was lodged at Police Station, Kud by family members of the girl hailing from Madha that their 20-year-daughter went missing on March 17. All efforts were made by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing girl could not be ascertained.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 12/2021 was registered at Police Station Kud and search started to trace out the girl.
With strenuous efforts the police team led by SHO, Insp Vikas Dogra with the help of computer/cyber cell experts of DPO, recovered the girl from Katra town.
The recovered girl was brought back Kud and thereafter handed over to her legal heirs after completing legal formalities.
