RAJOURI, Dec 4: The police arrested a drug-peddler from Lamberi area in Nowshera and recovered some quantity of heroin from his possession.
Official sources said that during routine Naka at Lamberi, a team from Police Station Nowshera apprehended a drug-peddler and recovered 4 grams of heroin from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Mohd Imran Chaudhary, son of Shafiq Ahmed, a resident of Fatehpur, Rajouri.
In this regard a case FIR No. 182/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nowshera. Further investigation is in progress to trace the source of the contraband and identify others involved in the suspected network.
