POONCH, Oct 9: Continuing its drive against the menace of drugs, the police held two youth in Loran area and recovered charas from their possession.
Police said during a naka at Lohelbela near Loran, the police party intercepted two suspicious persons identified as Shakeel Ahmed, son of Mohd Shafi and Fayaz Ahmed, son of Abdul Salam, both residents of Lohelbela, Loran, Tehsil Mandi.
During their personal search, about 54 grams charas was recovered from their possession. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 21/2025 under Sections 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Loran, and investigation has been initiated.
