Police gives computers, water cooler to Govt School

Jammu, Sept 29: A Civic Action Programme was organized by 1st Women Battalion at Govt. high School, ChakLargan, Pargalta (Bajalta), Zone Gandhi Nagar.
On the occasion, Commandant 1st Women Battalion R.C. Kotwal accompanied by Subash Chander-DySP, Anita Katel-DySP, Satesh Raina-DySP and other officers/officials of the unit distributed two computers, one printer and a water cooler for the benefit of the students.
Speaking on the occasion, the officers highlighted the importance of education in shaping the future of children and reaffirmed the commitment of J&K Police towards the welfare of society. The initiative was warmly appreciated by the school staff and students.This programme formed part of the ongoing Civic Action initiatives of Jammu and Kashmir Police aimed at strengthening police-public relations and encourage young learners.
