Police extends helping hand to rain-hit families

RAJOURI, Sept 11: The police under the supervision of SSP Rajouri, Gaurav Sikarwar, extended timely support to families affected by the recent heavy rains in Rajouri district.
In this humanitarian initiative, SDPO Nowshera, DySP Sahil Mahajan, and SHO Police Station Nowshera, Insp Arjun Mangotra, distributed relief material among the rain-affected families. The relief items included essential household goods such as utensils, kitchen items, ration, tin sheets, cement bags, blankets, mattresses, gas stoves, and other necessities.
During the distribution drive, the police team personally interacted with the local inhabitants whose houses and property had suffered damage due to the natural calamity. They assured the families of continued support and provided immediate relief to ease their hardships.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajouri Police chief emphasized that this initiative is a humble effort to stand with the needy during testing times and to extend solidarity with those who have suffered losses. The Police also appealed to the public to remain safe and approach them for any assistance whenever required.
