RAJOURI, Mar 25: Under the Civic Action Programme, Rajouri Police today distributed free bags, books, note books and other study materials amongst poor and needy children of three different Government schools.
During a function in this regard, 50 students of Government Middle School Badhan Budhal, Government Middle School Neeli Mitti Dandoth and Government Middle School Lathi Targian were given away the material.
Speaking on the occasion, senior Police officers said that the main aim of organizing such programmes is to have a greater co-operation with the public and helping them in the hour of crisis.
