POONCH, June 1: In a firm move to uphold law and order, the police took swift action against a trouble monger for an objectionable post on the social media in Poonch district. .
The police identified the mischief monger as Ajaz Ahmed, son of Mohd Bashir Sheikh, resident of village Salian, Surankote in district Poonch. He was attempting to disturb peace and social harmony in the society through the misuse of social media platforms.
To maintain law and order in the region, Ajaz Ahmed has been booked under preventive detention and sent to judicial lockup. This proactive measure underscores the commitment of the Poonch Police in ensuring public safety and security.
