SAMBA, Mar 20: Police detained six more vagrants under the preventive sections of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) in Samba district today.
A team of Police Station Bari Brahmana found 6 individuals roaming around suspiciously in Balole Khad area, a police official said.
Accordingly, they were detained and later lodged in District Jail Kathua, he said. The arrests were made by a police team under the supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas.
The detention aimed at curbing the drug-related offences and rehabilitation of those involved in narcotics substance abuse, added the police official.
