Srinagar, June 11: Police today claimed to have destroyed poppy cultivation in 10 Kanals of land in villages Awgaam, Sangus, Poniwa, Laroo and Kanipora in Kulgam.
A police spokesman said police has kicked off a drive in the district to destroy poppy that is grown for illegal drug production.
