Police cracks down on stunt biking

SRINAGAR, Nov 23: Police in Ganderbal today cracked down on reckless stunt biking, detaining nine teenagers engaged in dangerous and life-threatening acts.
As per police, these youngsters were found performing dangerous and life-threatening stunts on the National Highway.
In the action, the police also seized five modified motorcycles with concealed rear registration number plates, in violation of the Motor Vehicles Act.
“The apprehended teenagers will be handed over to their families after proper counselling and execution of a good-behaviour bond to ensure that such acts are not repeated in the future,” police said.
Police authorities urged parents to remain vigilant and advise youth to “refrain from such unsafe practices that endanger their own lives as well as public safety.”
