RAJOURI, Apr 11: In a decisive action against illegal mining, Rajouri Police today carried out a crackdown in the Darhal river area and seized two Poclain excavators along with one dumper.
The seized machinery was actively engaged in unauthorized mining activities in violation of existing laws and regulations. Acting promptly on inputs, the police team conducted the operation and successfully intercepted the equipment at the site.
The police have also warned that such drives will continue in the future, and anyone found indulging in illegal mining activities will face stringent legal consequences.
