UDHAMPUR, Aug 27: Under Civic Action Programme, District Police Udhampur constructed a bathroom in Government Higher Secondary School Basantgarh.
The newly constructed bathroom was formally inaugurated by DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Surinder Gupta, in presence of SSP Udhampur, Suleman Choudhary, SDPO Ramnagar, Deepak Digra, SHO Basantgarh, Parshotam Kumar, School staff and others.
Speaking on the occasion, DIG Surinder Gupta reiterated that Police was committed to extend a helping hand to people besides maintaining law and order. He also sought cooperation of general public for a check on the crime.
