POONCH, Oct 28: The police has registered an FIR against six persons in connection with the attack on a woman and her three daughters over a petty issue at Salwa village in Mendhar today.
A police spokesman said that goats of Sharifa Bi (45), wife of Showkat Hussain, resident of Salwah went into the fields of her cousin, Liaqat Hussain. It was followed by a verbal clash between the members of both the family. Then Liaqat and his five other family members allegedly attacked Sharifa Bi and her daughters Razim Bi-20, Gulfam Bi -16 and Baloor Bi 8, causing them multiple injuries. They were later removed to SDH Mendhar.
The police has registered FIR No. 180/ 2018 against Liaqat Hussain, son of Sakhia, resident of Salwah and five other family members. They were evading arrest.
