RAMBAN, Sept 7: Last rites of brave SPO Sanatar Singh of Police Post Luroo were performed here today with full honours acknowledging his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
A Guard of Honour was presented to the braveheart by District Police Ramban.
SSP Ramban, Arun Gupta along with Commanding Officer 12 RR, Vijay Singh Punia, DySP Operations, Majid Hussain and SHO Ramsoo Inspector, Fareed Ahmed attended the funeral along with local villagers.
SPO Sanatar Singh of Police Post Luroo, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramsoo, tragically lost his life yesterday while on duty after he came under landslide and shooting stones at Luroo, resulting in his on-the-spot death.
SSP Ramban and the District Police team consoled the son of the deceased cop and his grieving family and assured them of full support and assistance by the Police Department.
