Police attaches property of proclaimed offender

RAJOURI, Mar 8: In a significant action against absconding criminals, Police Station Manjakote attached the immovable property of a proclaimed offender during an operation conducted today.
A police team from Police Station Manjakote, led by SHO Imran Khan, in coordination with the Revenue Department and in the presence of Naib Tehsildar Manjakote, attached 7 marlas of land belonging to a JKNOP and proclaimed offender Shafeeq Ahmed, son of Mohd Ramzan Malik, resident of Naika Panjgrain, Tehsil Manjakote.
The property is situated at village Panjgrain and was attached after obtaining an attachment order under Section 88 CrPC (J&K), corresponding to Section 85 of the BNSS, issued by the Sessions Court, Rajouri.
Police officials stated that the action was taken as part of ongoing efforts to compel the proclaimed offender to surrender before the court and to ensure strict action against those evading the law.
Manjakote Police reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order in the area and warned that similar legal action will continue against absconders and individuals involved in unlawful activities.
