POONCH, Dec 8: The police has attached the property of a villager who illegally crossed over to Pakistan from Poonch district.
Official sources said that District Police Poonch has declared that the land measuring 6 Kanal 3 Marlas, falling under Khasra No. 817/823/825/808/1941/842 and located at village Saloonian, Tehsil Mandi, in District Poonch, stands attached as per law.
The said property belongs to Nazir Hussain, son of Faqeer Mohd, resident of Saloonian, Tehsil Mandi. In accordance with due legal process, the property has been attached under Sections 87/88 CrPC, following the directions of the Court.
The attachment has been executed in compliance with order of the Court. The individual had illegally crossed over to Pakistan, in connection with which FIR No. 02/2003, under relevant sections, stands registered at Police Station Mandi.
District Police Poonch reiterates its firm commitment to upholding the rule of law and taking decisive action against individuals involved in unlawful or anti-national activities.
