Police attaches property of drug- peddler

RAJOURI, Oct 8: The police has attached the property worth over Rs 19 lakhs of a notorious drug-peddler in Sunderbani area of Rajouri district.
Reports said today a police party from Police Station Sunderbani led by SHO Inspector Rajiv Sharma, under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, DySP Sahil Mahajan, continuing its drive against drug trafficking and its proceeds, attached immovable property belonging to a narcotics offender under the provisions of the NDPS Act.
The police attached an immovable property a single storey residential house valued at 19 lakh belonging to arrested accused Anwar Hussain, son of Amin Shah, resident of Kotedhara in Rajouri in connection with case FIR No. 15/2025 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act and Section 111 BNS.
The said property has been attached under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act after following due legal procedure. The case pertains to the recovery of 3 kg 640 grams of Charas from two accused persons on 20.03.2025. Both accused were arrested on the spot, while the said accused Anwar Hussain was later arrested as a forward link in the case.
