SHOPIAN, Apr 7: In a continued crackdown against narcotics-related activities, Police today attached an immovable property worth Rs 1,43,90,000 belonging to Mohd Ayoub Malik, a resident of Trenz, Imam Sahib in Shopian district.
The property, measuring 10 kanals and falling under Khewat Nos. 1298 and 612, was identified by authorities as having been acquired through proceeds generated from the illegal trade of drugs and narcotics.
The action was taken in connection with FIR No. 36/2023 registered at Police Station Imam Sahib.
Officials stated that the attachment proceedings were conducted in the presence of a duly constituted police team, along with the Executive Magistrate, Lambardar and Chowkidar, ensuring full adherence to legal protocols and maintaining transparency throughout the process.
