UDHAMPUR, Jan 31: The police has attached properties of two drug-peddlers in Udhampur district.
Official sources said that police attached a property worth Rs 30 lakhs in the form of a truck bearing Registration No. PB13AR-5475, belonging to Sanaullah Mir, son of Ghulam Mohd., of Dhuri Road, Sangrur, Punjab under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 125/2020 U/S 8/15 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Udhampur.
The police also attached a movable property worth approximately Rs 10 lakhs in the form of a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire bearing registration No. JK01AW-2817 belonging to inter-district drug peddler namely Abrar Javid, son of Javid Ahmed Sheikh, of Lasjan, Gundbal, Srinagar under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.
The attachment has been made in connection with FIR No. 210/2025 U/S 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Rehambal. The attached vehicle was found to be proceeds of crime generated through illicit narcotics trafficking.
