SRINAGAR, Jan 8: Police arrested a drug peddler in Waliyar Lar area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district today and recovered 6 kilograms of Charas from his possession.
A Police spokesman said that after acting on a specific tip-off, a police party headed by SHO Police Station Lar Inspector Nisar Hurrah accompanied by Naib-Tehsildar Lar, Farooq Ahmad raided a house at Chanthan Gulabpora and while searching a house, 6 kilograms of charas was recovered from the possession of accused person identified as Naseer Ahmad Qureshi.
He said in this regard, a case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Lar and investigation taken up.
