UDHAMPUR, Oct 6: Police Station Majalta has arrested all three accused allegedly involved in attack on Tarun Gupta, son of Ganesh Dutt of Bhardai, Majalta, yesterday.
A case vide FIR No. 82/2025 under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 191(2), 307, 351(2), 352 BNS was registered on the complaint lodged by Tarun Gupta.
As per the complaint, a white Alto car with partial registration number JK08, occupied by 3-4 unknown persons intercepted the complainant in the Khoon area, assaulted him and forcibly snatched his belongings.
Taking prompt action, the police team of PS Majalta traced and seized the vehicle bearing registration number JK08E-5121 within ten hours of the incident.
Following sustained investigation, three accused persons involved in the crime were arrested. They were identified as Manjit Singh, son of Lok Raj, resident of Galak, Ramkot; Rohit Sharma, son of Prem Chand, resident of Galak, Ramkot and Shiv Saroop alias Shivam Gupta, son of Pawan Kumar, resident of Galak, Ramkot.
Further investigation is in progress to ascertain the motive behind the incident and identify any other individuals involved.
