JAMMU, June 2: A drug peddler was arrested with 8.04 grams of heroin-like-substance from Miran Sahib area here today.
During routine naka checking at Miran Sahib area, one Vishal Singh alias Amu of Baroi, Bari Brahamana, was found in possession with the consignment, a police official said.
He was accordingly booked under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation taken up, he said.
Pertinently, the arrest and seizure was made by a team of Miran Sahib Police Station led by PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal under the close supervision of SHO Miran Sahib, Inspector Jai Paul Sharma.
