NEW DELHI, June 16: The Delhi Government has assigned key responsibilities to several IAS officers, including two from erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre.
As per an order issued by Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, Pandurang K Pole, a 2004 batch officer, who recently joined GNCTD, has been posted as Secretary Higher Education & TTE and Rashmi Singh, a 2007 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Secretary WCD, with additional charges of Chairperson DCW and Secretary A&CL.
While Pole has served Jammu and Kashmir in different administrative roles, including Chief Election Officer, J&K, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Rashmi Singh has served the UT as Administrative Secretary, Mining Department, Commissioner Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol Department among other positions.

Meanwhile, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has relieved four IAS officers from the NCT of Delhi to enable them to report for duties in different segments of the AGMUT cadre with effect from June 30, 2025.
Among them, Dr Ashish Chandra Verma, a 1994 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been directed to report in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, in adherence to a Ministry of Home Affairs order dated May 16, 2025.
The other officers include Sudhir Kumar and Vinod P Kavle, both posted to Mizoram, and Dr Sachin Shinde, who has been posted to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
