JAMMU, Oct 9: In order to pay homage to martyrs of 1947, the Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (PoJKLF) is going to organize a ‘Mashaal Rally’ on 21st of October.
The decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of PoJKLF, which held under the chairmanship of Convener PoJKLF Pritam Lal Sharma here today.
Sharma during the meeting laid emphasis on ensuring large participation by the members of the PoJK displaced community especially from the youth to pay respect to their ancestors who lost their lives on the fateful day.
The meeting alongwith its working committee group members urged the PM Narendra Modi led NDA Government for the in-toto implementation of the Joint Parliamentary Committee recommendations with regard to the welfare and rehabilitation of the displaced persons of Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting expressed dismay over the unreasonable delay in issuance of the remaining amount (Rs 24.5 lakhs) of the compensation of Rs 30 lakh per family as recommended by the JPC.
They expressed gratitude to the Modi Govt for providing Rs 5.5 lakh per family but maintained that it was just one installment of the total package and the remaining amount of Rs 24.5 lakhs should also be released.

Sarpanch Vijay Sharma, Suraj Parkash Bakshi, Pushak Sharma, Inder Parkash Khajuria, B R Sharma, Lekh Raj Sharma, Ashok Sharad, Kaushal Kumar, Pushap Khajuria, Romesh Kumar Sharma, Shanti Saroop Sharma and S. Makhan Singh.
