POONCH, Jan 31: A villager from PoJK, who inadvertently crossed the Line of Control was repatriated today by the authorities through Chakan Da Bagh border post in Poonch district.
Official sources said that one person, identified as Mohd Yasir (31 yrs) resident of Tetrinote in PoJK, inadvertently crossed over LoC from Salotri area and was apprehend by the security forces on this side.
After verifying, and performing legal formalities, he was repatriated today from Chakan Da Bagh border to PoJK.
An officer said that police and army authorities were there during repatriation of the PoJK resident and after conducting all the legal formalities, contact was established with counterparts and today he was handed over to PoJK authorities.
