POJK refugees protest outside Rana’s house

JAMMU, Oct 21:  Refugees from Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir held protest demonstration outside the residence of  Devender Singh Rana, Advisor to Chief Minister at Gandhinagar here today.
A large number of refugees including women, under the banner of Pak Occupied Jammu and Kashmir Displaced Persons Front -1947, 65, 71 in the form of a protest rally moved towards Green Belt Park. They were carrying banners and placards in their hands.
The refugees were raising slogans in support of their demands. After reaching outside the house of Mr Rana, they staged protest demonstration for some time and then disbursed. A few refugee leaders also addressed gathering and projected the demand of comprehensive settlement of refugees’ issues once for all. They demanded that without any further delay, all their issues be resolved. They alleged that Wadhwa Committee report was not made public and all the political parties were just buying time and befooling refugees for the last several decades.
