JAMMU, Feb 25: Punjab National Bank, Divisional Office Jammu was today awarded the first Official Language Shield Award in Region ‘C’ by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
The award was conferred for its outstanding performance in the field of Official Language implementation.
The award was presented by Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Amit Shah, at the Joint Regional Official Language Conference held in Agartala, Tripura.
The award was received by Vishesh Kumar Srivastava (CGM) and Pooja Devi, Manager, Official Language, Divisional Office Jammu.
The Bibhu Prasad Mahapatra (ED) from Punjab National Bank and other senior officials from the Head Office were present during the award ceremony.
