JAMMU, Dec 12: Punjab National Bank (PNB) held an MSME Customer Meet at Jammu under the leadership of Managing Director and CEO Atul Kumar Goel.
The program aimed to provide banking-related information and facilities to customers and ensure closer customer engagement. Goel emphasized that PNB has always prioritized customer satisfaction by offering innovative financial services.
Goel mentioned that the Bank is giving special focus to providing financial services to MSME customers and has taken steps to simplify banking processes. He noted that PNB has always been at the forefront of offering collateral-free loans to MSME customers.
Explained the customers about Bank’s special scheme which is available with the name of MSME Prime Plus, Goel said according to this scheme, traders can avail a loan of Rs 100 crore as per their business. He said to encourage digital banking, PNB One Biz app has been launched.
Goel further informed that in first two quarters of the financial year 2024-25, Bank contributed Rs 1.51 lakh crore in MSME sector and is committed to increase its contribution in this sector further. The event witnessed the participation of around 60 entrepreneurs.
Later, Goel, accompanied by Amratabh Anand and Circle Head Jammu Anil Kumar Sharma, visited Bal Niketan Orphanage, Amphala, Jammu. As part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility initiative, computers, shoes, and warm clothing were distributed to approximately 40 children.
In the evening, a meeting was held at the Circle Office in Jammu with around 130 staff members. The meeting was chaired by Atul Kumar Goel, with the participation of Amratabh Anand, Anil Kumar Sharma, all vertical heads, branch heads, and other staff members. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Deputy Circle Head Dharmesh Dwivedi.
