JAMMU, Feb 20: PNB organized financial literacy camps at Amenity Public School, Bassi Kalan and Government High School, Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana for making the students and the teachers aware of the financial inclusion schemes, social security schemes and digital banking.
The financial literacy counselors apprised the gathering of various initiatives of the bank related to financial transactions and the significance of these schemes. The Principal/ Head master of the school, while speaking on the occasion, encouraged the students to connect themselves with banking and avail the facilities by opening their accounts and make small savings in them.
On the concluding note, financial literacy counselors informed the gathering that such camps are being organized in rural and semi urban places, schools and colleges periodically for making the participants aware and financially literate.
