LEH, June 10: Continuing its proactive role in providing ‘Everywhere Anywhere Banking’ to the customers, Punjab National Bank (PNB) opened its new branch here at Choglamser.
The Bank’s MD and CEO, Usha Ananthasubramanian, inaugurated state-of-the-art premises of new branch in presence of Bhupinder Singh Passi, General Manager, Marketing, Head Office, Alok Srivastava, General Manager (HRD), Head Office, New Delhi, GS Gandhoke, Zonal Manager, Shimla, Bikram Singh Raina, Circle Head, Jammu Circle and Raj Kumar Gupta, Chief Manager, Circle Office, Jammu.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Usha Ananthasubramanian said that the initiative of PNB is to reach out to unbanked sections as part of its social responsibility and also as a “holistic approach” towards providing basic banking facilities to the people in all corners of the State through Financial Inclusion.
“With our commitment to providing banking facilities at the nearest possible locations, we have come to serve you at your doorsteps to ensure you reap the benefits of financing and latest banking facilities in the form of internet banking and mobile banking”, she added while interacting with the gathering there.
Usha added that the branch will also provide credit facilities to the people engaged in agricultural and allied activities as per their requirements. “Moreover, the branch will address the day to day banking needs of the people and will help all needy persons engaged in micro activities of the area”, she informed.
