JAMMU, Nov 2: Punjab National Bank (PNB), Jammu Circle and BSNL are celebrating Vigilance Awareness Week with the theme of ‘Public participation integrity and eradicating corruption” .
Punjab National Bank (PNB), Jammu Circle is organizing outreach activities for public and in-house activities for the staff members during the ongoing Vigilance Awareness Week. The activities include Gram Sabhas in different Panchayats of the region, lectures, slogans, essay writing, poster competitions on moral values, ethics, good governance and pledges by all staff in all the branches of the circle.
A debate competition was organized at Circle Office Jammu here today in which over 15 staff members participated. Speaking on the occasion, Bikram Singh Raina, Circle Head Jammu Circle deliberated upon the need for eliminating corruption from all the walks of life, including the Bank. Pawan Kohli, Deputy Circle Head, Subash Chander Chief Manager and staff members were present on the occasion and certificates were distributed among the winners of the competition.
BSNL is observing Vigilance Awareness Week, which started with administration of pledge to all employees by CGM, BSNL, J&K Circle HK Verma at North Block Bahu Plaza Jammu. He impressed upon the employees to practice the virtues of integrity and honesty in all spheres of their lives. On the occasion, Jeet Raj Kalsi, Vigilance Officer BSNL J&K Circle and VK Garg, General Manager (Admn) J&K Circle were also present and advised the employees to fight against corruption and follow the rule of the land and be honest in their working. Workshops, debates and essay competitions will be organized to promote awareness and honesty during the Vigilance Awareness Week.
