JAMMU, Oct 20: Aspirants for the post of Plus 2 Urdu Lecturer have demanded cancellation of the recently held written examination for the post and urged the J&K Public Service Commission (JKPSC) to re-conduct the same.
Talking to media persons, here today, the aspirants alleged that the question paper for the said post was out of the syllabus and several questions were incorrect.
“Less than 20 percent questions were from the prescribed syllabus while ten questions were incorrect,” said Dr Hasan Iqbal, president of the Aggrieved Aspirants for the post of Plus 2 Urdu Lecturer.
Alleging that the paper was of extremely low standard, he appealed the JKPSC to get the question paper reviewed by some experts from a university and re-conduct the exam for the post.
“All of us are Ph D scholars from reputed universities of the country and have command over the Urdu subject whereas the question paper set for post of Lecturer was of extremely low standard and out of syllabus along with incorrect questions,” said Dr Iqbal.
Reiterating the demand for re-conduct of the exam in view of out of syllabus question paper and incorrect questions, the aggrieved aspirants urged the JKPSC to look into the issue and take necessary action.
