Plus 2 Lecturers seek intervention of CM, LG for their regularization

JAMMU, Jan 10: All Jammu and Kashmir +2 Lecturers’ Forum today held its monthly meeting at UT level on virtual mode and sought intervention of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Lt Governor Manoj Sinha for fulfilment of their demands.
The meeting was presided over by Pardeep Singh Rakwal and Shakeel Ahmed Butt, provincial presidents and chaired by R S Salathia and Fida Gulzar, Chairpersons.
The virtual meet was attended by all District presidents besides senior leaders of the central body. Addressing the meet, Pardeep Singh Rakwal and Shakeel Ahmed Butt ( Provincial presidents) lashed at the Govt for unnecessary delay in the regularisation of Incharge lecturers despite passage of considerable time. They sought the personal intervention of Lieutenant Governor J&K, Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and Education Minister, Sakina Masood Itoo to resolve the issue of regularisation of Incharge lecturers. They said that the forum would soon come out with a protest programme at divisional level if the Department of School Education fails to fix a date for convening DPC for regularisation of Incharge lecturers.
RS Salathia and Fida Gulzar (Chairpersons), while speaking in the meet, urged Minister of School Education, Sakina Masood Itoo to effect transfers under ATD to relieve Principals and lecturers who are serving in Zone 4 and Zone 5 for a long long time, away from their home districts. Fida Gulzar also raised the issue of regularisation of Lookafter/Incharge Principals at the earliest.
Ghar Singh, Kamal Lal, Renu Lengeh, Gh Nabi Malik and Suresh Mattoo raised the issues of ACP and filling of all vacant posts of Principals.
