Plus 2 Lecturers Forum demands reorganization of Education Department

JAMMU, Sept 7: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has strongly advocated for immediate approval to the Draft Transfer policy and reorganisation of School Education Department.
The Central Executive body which met under the chairmanship of its president  Kiranjeet Kour, reviewed the overall scenario of the department in its monthly meeting where some district presidents of Jammu region were also present besides Central leadership and core members.
The members highlighted the importance of Teachers Day and paid rich tributes to Dr Radha Krishanan and made a resolve to rededicate their efforts to achieve academic Excellence.
The Forum also condemned the recent case of manhandling of staff of GHSS Gole Gujral by some outsiders and said that trespassing and using of abusive language by anyone won’t be tolerated by the forum .
Besides reporting and reviewing the working during the past month, members hoped that department will attain new heights under her stewardship of new Director School Education Smita Sethi.
The House strongly advocated their demand of Running Grade Pattern for Plus two lecturers and expressed their resentment on inordinate delay on part of Govt.
The other issues discussed were regularisation of left out cases and all incharge incumbents of cadre, non vocational status to Principals, Revival of 40 percent college quota and removal of discrepancy in grades of Physical Lecturers
The others who spoke were Anil Sharma, Dr Sushma, RS Slathia, Narinder Singh Jamwal,  Charan Dass, Deepak Sharma, Pardeep Singh, Ashok Sharma , Jitender Sethi and Narinder Sharma.
