JAMMU, Sept 16: A meeting of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of its president, NS Jamwal in which threadbare discussion and deliberation was made to make contribution for the help of flood victims.
NS Jamwal appealed the members of the Forum to contribute generously through concerned principals of Higher Secondary Schools, DIETs and SIE to donate for flood victims.
Among other issues discussed was the adjustment of lecturers repatriated from Ladakh for more than four months. Jamwal strongly stressed upon the DSE Jammu and Commissioner Secretary Education that all the lecturers from the Ladakh and DPC lecturers deployed at DSE Jammu should be adjusted in the institutions at an earliest, so that the study of students does not suffer further more.
The Forum also stressed for transfer of those lecturers who have completed their tenure in far flung areas, to their home localities.
