JAMMU, July 17: A plumber died today due to electrocution in Greater Kailash area of city outskirts.
“Dil Mohd (21) son of Zulfkar Ali, resident of Sainik Colony, who was a plumber by profession, fell unconscious after coming in contact with a live wire while doing plumbing work at residence of Swarn Singh in Greater Kailash area of Jammu”, a police official said.
He said the victim was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. “The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while inquest proceeding initiated by Gangyal police”, he added.
